By comparison, 70% of online searches lead to action within one month.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/adwords.blogspot.com\/2013\/09\/new-research-shows-that-70-of-mobile.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Google states 70% of respondents said they had used the \u201ccall button\u201d in Google search results.<\/a> BIA\/Kelsey says the number of calls to business driven by mobile search is growing at 42% per year and is predicted to fuel a staggering 65 billion calls in 2016\u00a0\u2014\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biakelsey.com\/phone-calls-from-mobile-search-will-top-73-billion-in-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">more than 70 billion calls to businesses by 2018<\/a> according to Google.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of mobile searches and action, <a href=\"http:\/\/think.storage.googleapis.com\/docs\/how-advertisers-can-extend-their-relevance-with-search_research-studies.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">Google states<\/a> 50% of consumers who conducted a local search on their smartphone visited a store within a day and 18% of local searches on smartphone lead to a purchase within a day. It\u2019s critical for B2B companies as well.<\/h3><div class=\"special-heading-border\"><div class=\"special-heading-inner-border\"><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<p>Smartphones are a critical business tool with <a href=\"92%25%20senior%20executives%20owning%20one%20and%2077%25%20using%20their%20phone%20to%20research%20a%20product%20or%20service%20for%20their%20business\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">92% B2B senior executives owning one and 77% using their phone to research a product or service for their business<\/a>, according to the IDG Global Mobile Survey 2014.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5274\" src=\"http:\/\/mountainstreamgroup.com\/integrated-marketing-communications\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/emarketer-mobile-use.png\" alt=\"emarketer-mobile-use\" width=\"654\" height=\"343\" srcset=\"https:\/\/mountainstreamgroup.com\/integrated-marketing-communications\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/emarketer-mobile-use.png 654w, https:\/\/mountainstreamgroup.com\/integrated-marketing-communications\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/emarketer-mobile-use-300x157.png 300w, https:\/\/mountainstreamgroup.com\/integrated-marketing-communications\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/03\/emarketer-mobile-use-450x236.png 450w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 654px) 100vw, 654px\" \/>B2B decision-makers are using their smartphone (69%) and tablets (71%) during work hours to research products \u2014 and 53% say a bad mobile experience makes them less likely to buy from a brand.<\/p>\n<p>A CNBC survey found that 78% of B2B executives worldwide use their personal smartphones for work and 75% their personal tablet for work. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thinkwithgoogle.com\/articles\/the-changing-face-b2b-marketing.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">A Google\/Millward Brown study<\/a> finds 49% of B2B researchers use their their mobile devices for product research \u2014 comparing prices, reading about products, comparing feature sets, and contacting distributors \u2014 at work.
